These small and light but essential plastic guards are designed protect your racket frame during play. So if the guard on your racket is looking a bit worn, is cracked or with pieces missing it is definitely worth replacing the bumper set (head guard) at your next restring. You may not always need to replace the grommet strips down the sides of the racket, just the head guard, but we include both the bumper and the grommets sets with your purchase.
